Odds
Hi
I am new (yes a fish) to poker especially No Limit. First up I am not Math orientated, however is there a simple way to calculate in the heat of the action (through a spreadsheet for example) whether it is sensible to call for a flush / straight draw given whats already in the pot? Most probably an easy solution, any help appreciated. Thanks Jonny |

Re: Odds
Well, you simply count your outs then it's more or less double to get the % chance. In the case of a flush, that's 18% by the turn. If it's an all-in situation and you will see the river regardless, then it's 36% (double again). These are very rough and only estimates, but that's really all you need.
