i would probably cap this with dead money coldcalling, though there is a reasonable argument for just calling to see if UTG will cap.

that said, I have no problems with your postflop play. I really can't see how UTG has you beat here, so keep on betting.

Amen. That entered my mind as I was copy/pasting the hand history. A little too late. But whatever.

Flop is ok? What about a check-raise?

smooth call the flop raise, check raise him on the turn. Pray he three bets and THEN cap him.

I would be more aggressive here. But your line is okay.

while most typical ss players won't fold a weaker A here even after getting checkraised, they sure aren't going to 3-bet a checkraise either.

i personally like the line of bet-3-bet if at all possible.
