what am i missing here? Where is the bluff? 2nd nut is not really much of a bluff, aspecially vs this board, plus, obviously an ace isn't folding.

Interesting hand, but considering the "bluff" didn't work anyways, that's ALL it is.

Nice post. A few weeks ago I posted a hand in which I quintupled up (yes thats 5x my stack) when the flop came JJJ and I was holding KJ. There was an all in and call in front, and a call behind me. Three of the 4 held Ax. This was at an early level of an MTT.

A strange, strange phenomenon of the weak player is valueing an Ace in their hand as the nuts when the board shows three of a kind.

Ofcourse its different in your situation but I thought I would mention it.

lol reminds me of a hand that a friend of mine was in(A lurker here at 2+2)

There was quad something on the board and he bet with the nut ace kicker. An opponent paused and said "Why are you betting, you are just feeding the rake" Then calls without an ace and says "Oh".

(my facts on this story are only from memory, but the idea is still the same)
