Is this standard operating procedure? $3/$6 game.
When the game gets shorthanded at our casino, they revert to a one small blind only rule. If there is only one small blind - $1, shouldn't I just wait for big pocket pairs to play. I mean why bother for a buck? (you still need to call $3) Sarge[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] |

Theoretically the game should tighten down considerably for the reasons you recommend, however, if the other players aren't adjusting to it and you can still make money post-flop you should adjust your strategy very little. |

Yeah, it happened again last night.
I freakin didn't know what to do, which seems silly. We were 5 handed, I had KJo second to act. First person folded, and it was to me. I was thinking, well normally I'd raise here, but why bother....? Sarge[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] |
