Default A7o hand

LL 5 handed game...

I don't think I played this well at all. Maybe even the pre-flop decision?

UTG raises...don't know a whole lot about him yet...next to act, I reraise with Ah7c..everyone folds back to UTG who just calls.

flop comes 2dQsAs

UTG check calls my bet.

turn is [2d Qs As] 5h

UTG bets out and I call

river is [2d Qs As 5h] Qc

UTG bet and I call

flame away.........

Default Re: A7o hand

you might want to stay away from playing ace rag after a pre flop rasier while playing short. many people raise with ace8, A9, AT, and up, and then there's the people who raise wtih any ace, so if an ace comes, you will not know where you stand. i would have folded.

i take it that you don't know much about UTG. i predict that he had A5 and you won, or he was being tricky with AQ. he probaly would have checkraised with presto.

a raise on the turn can't be a bad move.

if you don't know much about a player, you will have to call him down a bit at the beginning of your session (and some throughout the match) to see what he's working with.
