I would be hesitant to buy any stock which essentially consisted of a TV show.

It would be like asking if Desperate House Wives was a good stick to buy. Who know's what will be popular tomorrow. Seems like an offering designed to get the existing owners rich than raise capital for future business investment.

P/E = 290+
Enterprise Value/Revenue = 15+

WPT seems a tad overvalued - I'd wait for a correction before investing

With every risk, there is opportunity.

Why not consider buying puts. You'll have more leverage, and you're still gambling. Besides, what are the 'odds' the management are really on the up-and-up? Furthermore, as the psychology (& history) of the market reflects, when gambling is a popular past time, we are near the end of a major turning point. Unfortunately, that turning point is not reflective of a bull market.

I consider investing a way to help me keep my money, not risk it.

Most options expire worthless. It's better to write options.
