Default Lodging near Canterbury

I am looking for a *nice* place, preferably a bed and breakfast or spa that is not in downtown Minneapolis, that also happens to be in driving distance (say, less than 1 hour) away from Canterbury. Any of you Minnesota folks have any ideas?

Thanks much,

RH

I dont know much about B&B's or spas, but theres a small motel right on the corner near one of the canterbury entrances just off of 169.

HAHA - I'm pretty sure that's not what he's looking for...

I have limited knowledge of the area, but I have been there and know that your probably not going to find much in the way of a nice B&B that's near (15 minutes or so) Canterbury Park. It's kind of 'industrial' near the racetrack - not much in the way of scenery either...

I'd try here - and search for Minneapolis. You might be happy somewhere near Lake Minnetonka and I'm sure there are some nice places over in that area...
