Probably a stupid question

I'm having trouble getting older posts through searching under a poster's name. I can't even get posts from last year? Am I doing something wrong or is it the site?

the archive is messed up right now. A lot of posts from like 6 months ago to a year are gone, not sure what the problem is.

Did you try the older archives from the menu on the left?

Go there and then click on the recent archives link.

I was there yesterday. I think all the older posts from 6mos-1yr are there. You can then do a search for the poster you want.
