Default Super Fish at the Party 200

I've played 500 plus 200s and tonight I ran into the fishy fish yet. He caught a two out on the first hand to double up and called a 2000 chip all in at level 2 on a draw and hit. I lost heads up as follows.........

Blinds at 200/400
Hero is small blind
Villian is big blind
evenly stacked

I make it 800 to go with KK
He comes over quickly with another 2K
I push
He quickly..very quickly calls with......
.......8 9 suit

8 8 3
blank
blank

have a great day

His screen name is AAAAGOTCHA

Yeah, i'm whining a bit, but based on his play he should'nt even be playing on 10s. More than anything I wanted to share a fish. If you see him sit to his left.

Ok, the 89s raise is bad....but once you push, he's getting over 3.5:1 (I'm reading "another 2K" to mean "2800 total" and imagining that you both started with 5K before posting since you said you were "evenly stacked")...so that call isn't THAT horrible, is it? I mean, isn't that right around where he figures to be against your range of hands - a 3.5:1 dog?

damn it...you're right. I'm bitching....but before the asshat raised I knew what he had. That said, I'd sit to his left at every opportunity.

Sure, if he's always against an overpair. He might also be against 77. or AK. Or a great many other hands where he'd have odds to call. The all-in call isn't remotely fishy, this is nothing but a bad beat.

I should have stressed his prior poor play more so than my bad beat...move on...nothing to see here. I just hate losing a hu I should win 75% of the time.

Fair enough. It's still probably poor form to post his name here...I think people generally try to refrain from doing that.

The Bad Beat D.A. already had an indictment ready to go against you for your bad beat story. That indictment is now being amended to include a charge of perjury...

...you got in as a huge favorite. Be happy. Sh-t happens, best to just move on.
