Default Mass Scanning

I've just been handed 5 binders. Each one has about 500+ pages in it, that need to be scanned. I'm suppossed to sit at a scanner and scan each page in, on top of my regular duties. This is ridiculous and obviously very annoying.

Is there any place I can take these binders and use some sort of copy machine type scanner. Or have someone do it for me.

I suggested a solution like this and was told, "we don't have the budget for that." Yet, they have the budget to pay me $25 an hour for the next month to get this done.

I wouldn't actually give a [censored], but I won't be on a computer with two plus two or AIM access.

Default Re: Mass Scanning

There are big zerox like machines that can scan large stacks of paper in no time. I don't know of any Kinko like stores that have them though. I'm sure there are stores that exist, but most likely in the bigger cities.

Sorry about not being much help, but atleast you know it's possible. You might call Xerox and ask them. Talk to a sales rep they should be able to help you.
