I was told yesterday that they rake $1 from every pot to put towards a monthly freeroll. Last month the freeroll had a prize pool of about $15K. You need to log some hours to play in the tourney, and when I asked about how one logs the hours, I was told "not to worry about it, because basically anyone could play it if they registered."
