Default 7 Stud 8 in Vegas?

I'm going to Las Vegas for the Orleans Open and I was wondering where I might find a middle limit (10/20 or higher) 7Stud8 game during this time?

You may not find it anywhere. However, The Bellagio sometimes gets a $40-$80 half Omaha eight-or-better half stud eight-or-better. There may also be a side game at The Orleans, but I would suspect that it won't always hold together.

Mason,

How long has this been this case? Was there ever a time when multiple games/limits of 7Stud8 were spread?

I played 3/6 Stud 8 with a kill at the Palace

Station in the past, but the game wasn't going

during a visit in early June. It was a Monday

night though, and the guy at the desk claimed

the game still goes.

There used to be a low stakes stud 8 tournament

every Wed. afternoon at the Luxor, but that

wasn't going either in June.

I suspect the town is still hurting from 9/11

and the less popular games are gone.

The game was going pretty much every day at the Orleans last week. 20/40 was pretty regular and sometimes 50/100. I won several plays at 20/40, it was a good game. Everything that was supposed to happen in a poker game did in fact occur, namely:

1)The more skillful players won a lot of money

2)the bad players always went broke

3)patience, discipline, and aggression were rewarded

I expect it's still going now. Some of the people I played with were Norm, Danny, Steve, Barb, Nicky, Adam and this one giant fat guy.
