Default Cash-Out Problems at Commerce for Being Underage?

I've read numerous posts on here about how lax the Commerce is in LA concerning minors. The other day I was trying to convince a friend to go and try it out with me and he said something like this, "Yeah, it's not getting in that's the problem, it's cashing out," and then went on to say that I would wind up losing my money no matter what (either at the table, or they'd just take it when I tried to cash out).

Can any of you SoCal players help me out with this one? Is there any validity to my friend's concerns?

Sure. I have been there probably 50 times. I look 12. I have never been ID'd cashing out except when I got a table share of the bad beat.

Never been carded...never seen anyone get carded. Don't hit the jackpot though = automatic carding for everyone and don't push your luck and order alcohol.

I know people who have used someone else's ID or a fake to collect when sitting at jackpot tables.

Cmon now, this is Commerce we're talking about. Not Vegas.

I cant speak about the commerce but I got a player share of the badbeat at my local casino and my fake worked for it. Of course I was scared out of my mind the entire time they had my id, but it worked.

The purpose of collecting IDs is not to catch underage gamblers, it's for their record-keeping. I'm not encouraging anyone to break the law, but if you were to hit a jackpot you could realize that you "forgot" your ID in your other pants. They'll take your name and you can come back later with the ID to collect.

But I have seen you get upset when the security guards ask you repeatedly if you've lost your parents.
