Default Vituperating a fast food employee, +EV or -EV

My brothers roommate, a flamboyantly gay young man posing as a metrosexual, comes home from work last night. He proceeds to brag about berating "the fat black chick" at KFC for botching his order. The aftermath of this alterication was that he is no longer welcome at KFC.

My brother is baffled by this story. He doesn't understand the point of his roommates tirade. I decide to give him a gamblor's point of view.

Becoming angry and viciously repremanding the employee is clearly -EV, or at least less +EV than taking a more sociable approach.

The Factors:

Problem resolution
Time taken to resolve
Possible bonuses or penalties

Angry approach:

Time: Increased

Bonuses: 1% chance of a bonus. (The manager may hate this employee, and show it by giving you a free meal)

Penalties: 5%, you may receive a special gift in your new meal.

Sociable approach:

Time: decreased

Bonuses: 5% chance of free food. Missing item thrown in the bad. Extra side order.

Penalties: 1% chance. Random worker adds a little something extra to your meal.

So it looks like the only good thing that comes from getting angry is an emotional high. This is like playing Q3s utg because your favorite porn has 3 lesbians in it.

You might flop a boat, but in the long run you are losing money.
