Default STUD HI/LO BOOKS?

Can someone please recommend a quality hi/lo book for me specifically for 2/4 or even 4/8. Any input appreciated.

Regards,

Jaime

I believe even though it describes the game played without a qualifier for low, Sklansky's section in SUPER SYSTEM is very good.

The high-low section in Super/System is indeed excellent, and it is worth reading, but it is about a very different game than eight-or-better. High-only hands are significantly better in eight-or-better than they are in the no-qualifier game since they gain some scoop potential when the lows don't get there. Ray Zee's book is an absolute must. Even playing $2/4, you should make your $35 back in no time.

Agree completely with both your points. Having the qualifier makes a huge difference in strategy, such that if you're playing Stud/8, don't even bother with Super/System. And the Zee book, although kind of sloppily written, is terrific.
