Media BNacking Candidates...

The Washington Post is formally backing Kerry. It was announced either yesterday or today. Newspapers have always backed candidates. So why can't Sinclair Broadcasting back Bush? Not taking sides or picking on one versus the other. Just curious? Can anyone answer this?
