Default Here is what the 2+2 forum needs most.

Each individual poster/reader needs the ability to click a box beside a thread that completely ignores that thread for them. It really is a massive pain scrolling down past the monster threads you have no interest in. This little box would eliminate that.

Maybe somewhere in the myhome section they could see the title of the threads they have ignored just incase they decide they want to read them another time.

I almost never signed up for 2+2 because it was too tough to nagivate when I signed up. I think flat and collapsed modes should be the default.

The number one thing 2+2 needs is a way to "type" math. Something similar to PF's LaTeX would be AWESOME.

What is that?

LaTeX Code was made by Physics Forums. I used to read there when I was still in school. Very useful place. A typesetting like LaTeX would be so, so useful for 2+2. There's just so much math discussed here and yet our admin has given us no way to write it.

The last lab I worked in used LaTeX to write its papers and grant applications.

LaTeX is unbelievably sweet.
