Good limit player needs more help

Did I play either of these hands right, and if not what could I have done differently. My motto at the table is don't live in fear. I put it to the test in these two hands.

I gave anyone with an A and a higher kicker the chance to beat me rather than scare everyone out right after the flop and before they could get committed to the pot. Good gamble, crazy, or was there a better way to make the same play.

Hand 1 is fine. I don't slowplay much because people are willing to pay you off when you don't, but you have a full boat. If you aren't going to milk that for value, what are you going to milk for value?

Highly unlikely someone has you beat, and I like you representing a made flush there instead of the full house.

I don't know about hand 2. I really don't like pushing there cuz you're probably beat. One of the things you have to do with a short stack is realize that folding is better than a push in some situations, even though you want to make a standard raise with a big stack.
