Default A common situation

PP $30

It is 5-8 handed in lvl 4. You have 6-8xBB. It is folded to you either on the button or the cutoff.

You have an ace and another card.

How high does the second card need to be if unsuited, how high if suited to move in?

A5s and above, A7o and above, I think. Somewhere around there. 6x BB, I probably raise with A2s and A5o. Really just depends on BB, table, and other factors. Can't fold A8s or ATo here though.

This is so player dependant. You really have to know who you're stealing from before you can steal at all.

This isn't really a steal. In this situation, if you are dominated, you are likely to be called. How tight the players to your left are is a factor, but not that big a factor.

I'm moving in with any suited A, or A7o and up.

However, I play at stars. And at stars, you're less likely to be up against stacks that are also in desperate mode (less than 10XBB). So at stars, I think you're more likely to get the blinds to fold than at party. If someone disagrees, I'd like to hear their explanation.
