Default Love them Jacks.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (8 handed)

MP2 bets t1185 (All-In), Hero calls t780 (All-In).

Final Pot: t5190

We had just consolidated the two tables at a PokerStars 5+.5 SnG, this is the very first hand and I had no read on MP2. I had just gone through a 12 hand drought of cards, which I'm pretty sure the other four at my table picked up on. What do you guys put this guy on? I decided that it didn't look like a KQs play and put him on AJ. I was trying to slow down a little when I did flop top set. Usually I'd be in there raising on the flop, commiting at least half my stack if not outright pushing. Opinions?

I raise all in on the flop, it's a nice pot and it's mine now

Hero just pushes on the flop and turn. It's a huge pot, and t450 looks suspicious.

i actually like not pushing on the turn. you give him a chance to make a second best hand like 2 pair. theres hardly any hands that can beat you so slowplaying is a good idea.

Good points. If you want to slowplay, I wouldn't t450 though, especially with position.

ok, that's where I thought I was weak in the hand too... so how much do you bet there?

Check or push, anything else smells funny.

Ok, next SnG I got myself into about the same situation (mid set though) and pushed when he checked to me on the turn. it worked just fine, he called and made two pair on the river after flopping TPTK with AQo. I think he would have folded if I pushed on the flop, so the call probably made me some $$
