Default Chumash, Shoomash!

I played in a WPT satellite tournament at Chumash casino over the weekend. It was a $120 buy in. About 750 players - I only made it to the 3rd round, so I didn't stick around to see who won.

This was my first time playing poker at a casino. I have played online - and have won a few single table tournaments, so I thought that I was ready for "The Real Thing." Boy was I wrong. Basically, I got nervous and made some really bad calls. It only took 3 poorly played hands and my chip stack was beyond desperate.

I went all in with Ace, 3 before the blind, and one guy called me with Ace, 9 - we both got another Ace on the flop, then the board paired 8's, so we each had 2 pairs. I don't remember what the other cards were, but they didn't help me. And my First foray into live tournaments came to an end.

It was a learning experience thats for sure. Anyways, I'm new to this forum, and still fairly new to the game. Thought I'd share my first tourny experience with you all.
