I just sat down at a 2/4 Party table. The avg. pot is about $40 but I have no info on anyone yet. I get JJ in the SB. UTG limps, UTG +1 folds, next player instantly 2 bets, and then gets 3 bet. Next player to act calls 3 cold. Then it folds to me. Do i just fold here? I never like to call 3 cold and I don't think I should cap. What should I do?

The title of this thread is hilarious. Memories.
As for this hand, I would not fold. I'd probably cold-call and see if the original raiser caps. Other people haven't liked this line when I have suggested it before but I can't remember why. |

I agree. Against unknowns I don't want to fold. But I don't want to cap either.
JJ is a real pain in the ass sometimes. |

ok, so i called 3 cold and then the person that 2 bet capped it. Flop is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. I check the person that caps leads out and gets 2 bet by UTG +2. Do i just fold now?

Can't see myself folding here.... Likely, I 3-bet the flop.... Also, even if you are behind now, the pot is fairly large by now...may pay off if you can spike a J on the turn.
Definitely an either-or situation.... |
