Party Poker 15/30 Hold'em (10 handed)
Preflop: Hero is BB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MP1 posts a blind of $25. UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 (poster) checks, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB folds, Hero checks. Flop: (5.33 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, MP1 folds, CO calls, Hero calls. Turn: (4.16 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, UTG+1 bets, CO raises, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls. River: (10.16 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, CO calls $25 (All-In). Final Pot: 13 BB Both of my opponents are loose/bad. I don't like betting out on this flop, I'd much rather give my opponents an opportunity to make bad bets against me. Note that the turn raiser doesn't have enough to even fully call one more bet, so I think 3betting the turn just pushes out the EP player, and makes me less money. And I really don't think the EP player will call a 3bet here. Which is also why I like leading out on the river. Comments appreciated -Scott |

[ QUOTE ]
Check-raise the river [/ QUOTE ] That's not going to work. If he tries that, the most like scenario is it gets checked to the CO who bets all in. If he raises, he's not going to get called by the player in the middle. I think he played it as well as possible. |

Nice job. I also think you nailed it. You said the others are idiots? I certainly hope the CO didn't turn a wheel

Well played and it's either a split pot or you take it down. Either way, it's played well.

Thanks all for the replies.
The results were that EP had a weak ace, and LP had AK. -Scott |

Nicley played ... although pros would recognize your smooth calling and then "all of a sudden" bet on the river.
