Default Skill level between PP $3-6 & $5-10 (full)

We talked about $2-4 v. $3-6 and people had some interesting comments. How about the $3-6 compared to the $5-10? If $1-2 is any indication, I would expect a bigger jump in skill level since many of the fish play 6-max.

Anybody made this jump recently?

By the time you're ready to move to 5/10, you should be able to scout the games yourself. Honestly.

I have. The only difference I have noticed is there is a bit more check raising and check raise bluffs. If you are winning at 3/6 then I don't see any reason that you wouldn't be at 5/10

play during the evening
dont bother during the day
be ready to leave if you the table is noticeably bad...which can be quite often
play your best 3/6 game and youll be fine

the level of play is more agressive and quite a bit tighter, but youll find out soon enough

Here's the link to the forum search.

Do a search for (using the quotation marks)

+"3-6" +"5-10"

Check the box for "Subject only." This will find posts whose subject line contains the phrase "3-6" and "5-10".

Set the forum to "All forums" or "Small Stakes," depending on your preference.

I'd set the date range to newer than 1 year.

This is very good advice and entirely consistent with my recent water-testing.

I've been playing the 5-10 6 max games lately and they're all ridiculously great (albeit very swingy). why bother with the 10 handed games if they're like that?

I haven't noticed them to be like that. I haven't had a problem finding a table with 5 or 6 seeing the flop mosts hands.

Why are the shorthanded games so much better?
