Default consensus on ev+ of ring play versus ev+ of SNG? (4 at same time)

which looks to be more profitable, 4 SNGs at same time or limit assuming u are approx same skill at both

Well i have roughly a 25% ROI at the $50 +$5 so that's $13.75 per game. I multi at 4 but also let it relax and probably average no more than 2.5 screens at a time. 2.5 x 13.75 = about $34. Roughly an hour - some game are longer - some are shorter.

Now at $10 - $20 limit holdem, there is no way that i win $34 / hour or 1.7xbb per hour. And the variance is (feels?) far higher.

S&Gs are easy(ish) steady money once you have developed an OK game

Suppose you have a $1000 bankroll, make 20% ROI at 30+3 SNGs, and 3BB/100 at 2-4 limit, both four tabling. I think these will have a similar risk of ruin.

Further suppose you play on average 8 SNGs in one hour (is this accurate?) and 200 limit hands in an hour.

That's $52.8/hr at SNGs and $24/hr at limit.

No, I think that's an over-estimate. If you are 4-tabling, the range is 5-6 tournaments/hour.

if you're playing 4 SNGs at once and have a fairly high ROI (20-35%) at a fast structure site like Party, you will only average around 5 SNGs per hour... at least, that's my average, over about 200hrs of 4-tabling.

now-- you might be able to get in 20/hr or so 4-tabling, but then i'd say that you'd be much better off playing the ring games
