Interesting article on religion

Below is a copy of something I posted in the 'Can God' thread started by Mr. Sklansky in the Psychology forum. I will be interested in the responses so I thought I would post the same article here also to see what kind of responses come from this forum. It is quite a good article in my opinion and points to some interesting ideas and concepts.
