interesting pot in PLH
Here is a pot I only witnessed. PLH, blinds are 1-2, full table. Most flops are seen three handed or heads up, kind of a slow table lately. That was about to change... Stacks are (if memory serves me correctly and only of the players involved): SB 250, UTG 200, middle pos. MP 250, Button 800 UTG raises preflop to 7, three callers as above. Flop comes Jc4d5c, SB checks, UTG bets 30, MP raises to 120, button reraises everybody all-in and all three (SB, UTG and MP) call all-in. At this point, what do you think the hands are? Which hand(s) would you like here? Will post results later. Stephan |

Re: interesting pot in PLH
kinda hard to put players on a hand here... UTG is tagged with aces or kings... and I fear hes losing MP a big draw... Ax clubs... possibly even 78clubs... I fancy one or both of the othe other two players has a set. I would like 78clubs here... especially if 2 sets are out.. little chance of pairing up for a boat... and 15 outs twice for the pot. cheers, Keith |

Re: interesting pot in PLH
Pretty close in your analysis. thats what I thought at the table before seeing the showdown. I would have wished for 67 of clubs, though, why 78? Typo? Stephan |

results
Here are the hands that were shown down. SB had 54o for bottom two pair on the flop. Preflop raiser UTG had KK. MP (who reraised on flop) had QcKc for the second nut flush draw and finally Button (who reraised everybody all-in) had QJ offsuit for top pair, mediocre kicker on flop. This really surprised me. I thought he had at least middle set. Turn came T offsuit, giving the QK of clubs a few more outs and river came club. QK took down main pot, I do not remember the side pots. Stephan |
