Short Stacked with a piece of the board and OESD
Party 20+2 NL BB is T300
150 left top 80 pay (Sorry lost hand history, going by memory) Relevant Stacks Hero (T2900) SB (T11 800) <---Very LAG sees too many flops CO (T 11 000) <-----Also Very LAG I was shortstacked after having my cowboys cracked by a set of 7's. I'm in the BB with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 limpers to me in BB, I check. Flop is 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] SB bets 600, Hero pushes, CO thinks for a while then calls, SB also calls. Hmm didn't want both of them calling. Correct push here? I figured I still had decent fold equity, and even if SB and CO call, they could very only be holding overcards or bottom pair. |

Re: Short Stacked with a piece of the board and OESD
I agree with the push here, and don't think it's close. Your folding equity is great (even if you didn't collect), and while you could be out-kicked, you've got outs to the str8 and a backdoor flush draw.
Personally, I don't mind having two people with me in this pot. It makes overcards more of a problem, but if I catch my str8, I probably triple up. |

of course you push here, if i were short stacked i would also be rooting for a call.
