Default Baseball

It seems that a LOT of 2+2ers are into baseball. Why is that? They need a sports forum (not for betting).

Just be glad we don't take over every forum with our baseball posts. We could, you know.

Hmm. I'm not sure what's funny, because I wasn't joking.

where are the big poker playing areas in the US? LA, Bay Area, Chicago, AC/NY, Minnesota... Who's in the hunt or alread in the playoffs this year? Yankees, Twins, Dodgers, Giants, Cubs. Plus two of our most prolific posters (Clarky and the Masked One (maybe that's a title for a midseason replacement?)) are somehow supporters of two other teams that are in it.

Plus, well, baseball is cool.

Well, I think it's generous to consider the Astros "in it".

I don't consider the Red Sox, Cubs or Braves to be "in it" either, for similar reasons.

Clark, I know you seem to like intersting Bonds stats. He will most likely end the season with an OPS over 1.400, which would be the first time ever in the history of the game, shattering his own record.

I like that he has more walks than anyone but Ichiro has hits.

I knew the OPS thing, it's still amazing. Heck, just the .610 OBP is dumbfounding.
