If you see someone and you think "I wonder if he's on steroids"-- He is.

People who don't know about the rampant use of steroids are naive because they haven't been exposed to the culture..

However, if you have a few friends who use them, you realize:

a.) its not a huge deal
b.) They're easy to get, and not as dangerous as a lot of people want to make them out to be.
c.) You learn how many other people are doing them, because your friends know all the other people using them.


In the case of Barry Bonds, there have not been too many more obvious abusers. He was a lean wiry type at the beginning of his career. Now, later in life, when his strength should be diminishing, he's bigger and stronger. His head and face look like Ben Johnson's when he won the 100m dash at he olympics.
