Nice jump by TradeRounds to take the overall lead! Bob L and others, your bad start is behind you- now you can handicap with confidence. Me? I'm just thrilled to be back in the black right now...

Okay, time to play the "Easy E Errors" game! Make sure I didn’t miss anything ELSE obvious!

The Pinnacle EEE O/U line was down to 113…. But it shot back up and is at 532 now…

Default It\'s great to be #1 for the week but...

I had picked the Rams -7, since they lost that knocks me down a bit.

Default dammit.....

I have to reformat the spreadsheet- it's hiding the team names due to the last fixes and I thought you had the Raiders.

I'll update the correction- thank you for your honesty.

Default You got the Giants, but are still 3-1

Since you didn't respond and you picked against the Browns, I gave you the Giants.

It was the 49ers that screwed you up.

Default Correction for the correction, and a new Week #3 champ

Kevmath is actually 3-1- this week, 8-4- overall for $600.

That makes the "new" Week #3 winner bugstud, as the first 4-0- poster in Week #3.

Congrats, and sorry I diminished your limelight! I will update the totals in next week's post

Pinnacle at 695 and climbing....

Default week 3 Recap and a few thoughts/questions...

Thoughts and questions first:

- E, I think you have my grand total wrong. I have me as 7-5, -$300 (I think I went +$200, -$800, +$300).

- Shouldn't we impose some kind of penalty on the latecomers? Since losing picks cost money, anyone coming in late has a leg up on a big portion of the field. I don't think giving them all losses is fair (-$1,000 per week!), but neither is coming in at $0

Week 3 Recap:

We lost $1200 on the favorites and another $4400 on the dogs for a total loss of $5600. On the year:

Week 1: $14,600
Week 2: $2,700
Week 3: $5,600
Total: $$6,300

Our "Suicide" Pick, the Eagles, won so we're still alive.
Picked: Vikings, Jets, Eagles.

The Top 5 (Eagles, Titans, 49ers, Texans, Saints) went 3-2 again, to make us 8-7 on the year.

Teams that were picked 4 times or less were 6-6-1.

The Cowboys, despite being shackled with that onerous LoriLine (giving points when Vegas was favoring the 'Skins) managed to either prove their mettle (if you're a Cowboys fan) or luck into an old coach mis-managing the challenge system (if you're neutral) in covering against the 'Skins.

As a latecomer I'm biased, but anyone who wanted to level this out could simply not pick for a week........

If I'm in 1st for Week 17, I'll take you up on it.

It's not a big deal. There's no prize aside from fame (which is fleeting, esp. here). I'm just hyper-competitive by nature so I get jealous of people who are ahead of me and didn't make "all" the picks.

I can't think of a decent "penalty" anyway.

How about ties are settled in favor of the one who made the most picks?

Just a thought.
