There is no carbon-copy way to bet the moneyline. It all depends upon the individual game. Straight wagers on games carry less juice than parlays, so if you're new I'd recommend sticking with straight wagers.

First off, no one can pick 80% winners. Anyone who tells you they can is either lying or fixing games.

But picking winners isn't what moneylines are about. If you wanted to pick winners, you'd just always pick favorites. At the end of the season you'd have picked a lot of winners, but you'd also be broke. The goal is not to win games, the goal is to make money... and there is a big difference between the two when betting on the moneyline.

Yes, no one can pick over 80% of the winners. And true, you can pick 80% of the winners if you always bet straight up on huge favorites but you'd still be screwed in the end because of the money line.

But if you're good in general, I say bet the same amount on each game, and see how it goes for you. Also, you might want to try "If Action" bets. Sportsbook offers them (www.sportsbook.com). If you don't know what that is, you make up to a certain amount of bets (around 10 or so is what they allow) and prioritize them. You put x dollars on game #1, and if you win or tie, x dollars is bet for you on game #2. If you win or tie that, x dollars is bet for you on game #3, and so on.

Good luck.

I have this system that I have been usuing to pick winners. Its based on paired comparison logistic regression. Its don'r fairly well for teh end of that season and the beginning of this one. I jsut don't know how to get the most money out of it. What i have been doing is finding teams that are underdogs on teh moneyline and betting those games sometimes with the points sometimes without. It seems to be working out ok, i was jsut wondering if there are any sort of bets i didn't know about.

Thanks for the responses.
