A few years ago I was watching the local news and they were interviewing some people from the little town of Torrington, Alberta, who thought that the new stuffed-gopher-in-different-clothes-and-poses museum they opened would put their little town on the map. I laughed and laughed at the townsfolk and pictures.. until last year when they put up a big sign on highway 2 between Edmonton (my hometown) and Calgary.
Now I'll tell you, since my dad, grandparents, and my girlfriend's family all live in Calgary, I've completed a lot a lot of drives down and back, and the sign is really really starting to grow on me.......
