Default volatility



I've heard it claimed that stud poker is wildly volatile. Would anyone care to take a shot at quantifying that? Please, do be technical (if that suits you).


I am especially interested in 7cs and in 7cs/8, although responses pertaining to other poker games might provoke interesting discussion.

probably referring to the higher limits. When the ante is higher the game becomes more of a crap shoot. The swings can be huge.
