Default Big Pair Buffoonery

Early in the Party $100+9.

I have QQ in the BB (25/50).

I have about T2500, MP has about T1300

MP raises first in to T150, 3 cold callers. I reraise to T700. MP moves all in for T500 more. Everyone folds to me.

I called.

You did absolutly nothing wrong here. You have a clear call for 500 more. I've seen this move by MP made by AK or a smaller pair many, many times.

I suspect you were up against KK or AA since you posted the hand. This was pretty standard stuff though.

Peace

Goodie

S-T-A-N-D-A-R-D. That is flat out standard, you played fine. If you lost to a big pair, so be it, but there's no other line for this hand. Period.

I was just knocked out of the Super Tuesday at party for a huge pot when my AA was cracked. Should I have folded?
