Default Bay Area Poker Loss

I just returned to the Bay Area recently, and was looking around for this guy named Al. He was in his fifties, I would guess, and was shockingly left of center for a regular poker player. Being only a liberal democrat, I really enjoyed being the conservative for once in our regular conversations.

He told me lots of stories about his various lives: european basketball coach, activist for native american nations, poker war stories old WSOPs.

Anyways, I was wondering where he was at, and was told by a player last night that he died. I don't know if anyone on this forum knows who I am talking about, and I don't know his last name. But I was sorry to hear of his passing, and wondered if anyone knows the details?

Please email me at ricem@stanford.edu.
