KQ-off vs the SB
SB was somewhat loose and rather aggressive.
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP1 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Hero raises, 4 folds, SB calls, 1 fold. Flop: (5 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, SB caps, Hero calls. Turn: (6.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) SB bets, Hero calls. River: (8.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, Hero calls. Final Pot: 12.50 BB Main Pot: 12.50 BB, between Hero and SB. The river check-raise really threw me for a loop here, since I was planning to raise if he led out. |

Re: KQ-off vs the SB
It was a good river plan, then you had to change it. Calling the river CR is fine. Folding is dumb, and you don't want to pay off a capped river.

Re: KQ-off vs the SB
That's a pretty damn goofy looking hand but I like your play and I like your plan on the river. Party has gotten ridiculously LAGGY recently so I have this weird feeling you just got the max out of a busted flush.
