Personally, I raise pre-flop, but limping is obviously good strategy, so nevermind that point.

I'm not sure I like your all-in on the river. I definitely think the SB may be on a draw of some sort, and the Q on the turn is definitely a scare card. Especially since he only called your turn bet, and didn't push. He may have the nut straight.

At that point I check the river, and hope I have the best hand.

I think you bet too little after the flop. You have a great hand but the high card board is scary and there are likely draws out there. Make the price to high for draws to correctly call.

Usually I play a flopped set very hard. If you get beat .. oh well bad luck there's another tourney starting soon.

thanks guys. great responses that i overlooked in-game. the only reason that the queen didnt scare me is that he checked it even after i came out betting on the flop. if he bet the queen with his made straight he should at least expect a little more action from me.

anyways, i was baffled when he shows down top pair worst kicker: A2.

Raise a little more on the flop, I'd say to 125. Push the turn. Absolutely no need to get cute here.
