Was wondering about my fold here, I was planning on hitting the set or letting it go, but I really hated folding the overpair so early in a tournament.

I was actually close to folding this after the reraise preflop, not because of the reraise, but I was afraid of an allin after me. I figured calling, but only for the set was the best move facing 2 raises.

Just a couple hands later, still 15 or so from money. Was wondering if anybody would take this chance to get the stack healthy.

Default Re: A few hands from last nights large caps

Hand 1: Nice payoff, good job.

Hand 2: Given your position and your hand, I'd say this is a prudent fold. Position is important.

Hand 3: Lucky for you the guy with the Aces didn't make it as expensive as he should have for you to call. I'd say this was a reasonable gamble for you to take, if you have the discipline to check/fold an underflop.

Hand 4: Ugh. You both played your hands terribly. I'd like your all-in better if you at least had a back-door flush draw. I'd take one off and see what he does on the turn. Use your position, don't throw it away with a hasty all-in.

Hand 5: Nope, not calling there.
