Default PP 10+1: Getting scared on the river

This was a bit embarassing.. I was looking at the wrong stack when making my turn bet: I thought that T366 was going to put him all-in.. Luckily, it was an ok sized bet anyways. But what to do on the river, that is the question. Should I bet a little to let him just call, push, call his push? I had no particular read on him. I don't think calling his all-in is right, but could there be a way to avoid it?

What do you think he's holding? 99, K9, JT, AJ?

Bet the flop, check/fold the turn.

I hate ace/low. But without a read of any sort on him it's hard. I'd also say he had 10/j without knowing anything else. But he could also have things like ace/king ace/queen, etc. I just don't think that very likely based on his play.

I don't like check/folding the turn. I can afford to bet the pot (maybe I should bet a little less?), and I don't think that the opponents call on the flop indicates that he's ahead. He might be on an OESD, he might have A with lower kicker or a worse pair. That's why I think it's important to continue betting on the turn. But after he calls my turn bet, I am getting very suspicious about my mediocre kicker.
