Default 4-8 SH tables?

Does anyone spread a 4-8 6-max table? I'd love to find a step between 3-6 and 5-10.

Thanks,

i don't think there is one. UB usually has the the widest variety of stakes and not even they have it. maybe one of the lesser known sites has it but then their probably wouldn't be many players playing it if it all and game selection would suck.

This question got me thinking: since it costs nothing extra to the House, why don't online poker sites spread 6-max or 5-max at every limit? It would be nice to step up from 1-2 to something higher without having to scrounge around for $1200 in additional bankroll...

Is there nothing at all, anywhere, between 1/2 and 5/10? I thought Party at least had 2/4 and 3/6 before their dumb jackpots started up, and I just assumed other sites would like 6-max at lots of levels because of the increased rake.

I don't play on many sites, so I'm not sure if 4-8 is spread somewhere.

But I question the usefulness of making such babysteps. If you're able to beat the 3-6 you'll be able to beat the 5-10.

You may be right, but there are psychological/bankroll considerations as well.

My eventual goal is to play at the 10-20 level. I'll get there a lot faster if I can find good "in-between" levels.
