he wants you to pull out Getting the best of it..p58 8 mistakes in poker...mistake#3..calling when you should fold..can cost you quite a few bets when made early...therefore calling with QT is worst..mistake #4 calling when you should raise..may end up winning the pot..ATs 2nd worst...mistake #7 raising when you should call..JTo..may allow early player to isolate..3rd worst....mistake 6 folding when you should raise(or mis5 call)...AKo..mistake,but does not compound and is the smallest mistake,,,jmho..gl

But I think that you are defining "mistake" too narrowly. It seems (and I could be wrong in how I am interpreting your message and if so, I apologize in advance) that you are only looking at what it costs you when you play hands such as QT that go on to lose. But you are not looking at what it "costs" you when you don't play hands that go on to win such as AK. Folding AK is a "compounding" mistake because you miss out on what you could gain from bets on the flop, turn and river.
