Default odds 6-1 & pot 6-1

do pot odds need to be more to justify a call???? for simplicity assume no implied BONUS, just pays 6-1.

odds really 6-ish to 1, no?

meaning, you have a positive expectation for calling...

its tough but you need to say to yourself in this case of getting 6 to 1. will i win this pot if i call about one in seven times i make this call. or in the case of bluffing the same thing. if you think yes, go ahead if you think no, dont. as your carreer moves on you will get a good feel for your decisions. also watch when you play to see how often those kinds of plays work.

Default to RAY ZEE

yes, but. In the past I have usually called whenever pot odds were at least equal....but just few days ago (after all this time) I took pen and paper and figured that if bets are equal in all 7 times and I do win 1 of 7, then it is a net loss!! did I figure wrong??

say the pot has 6 dollars in it. you must put in one to call. total is seven.

after seven times you have put in a total of seven. and you win one of the seven pots. hence you get the seven back and are even. this is what i am thinking.
