Results in white below:
BB shows 9c Jd (two pair, jacks and nines).
Hero shows Ah Qs (one pair, queens).
Outcome: BB wins t2790.

1. I don't raise PF. Lately it seems if I raise PF w/ a good hand I miss the flop. If I come out betting, I'm raised. If I check, I'm bet at strong. It's fun.

2. I finally flop something decent. What do I do? Make a weak raise, mostly because I'm scared.

3. I decide I'm going to be aggressive on the turn and raise a 400 bet all in! I'm playing good lately!

8 game OTM is nothing at all to concern yourself with.

I am a winning player and I have 8 OTM here and there. SnGs are a lot about fear, if you stop being aggressive your game will get even worse.

I agree completely. I've gotten a lot better at fighting through these dry spells. Still, sometimes my brain stops working and I do these types of things.

On a good note, I just got two 1sts and a 3rd to come out of that dry spell.

I've just come out of a 13 game OOTM streak, but I know that these things are bound to happen. Its just important to stay confident & on your game, otherwise you will be making it easier for the streak to continue.

Play Well

Almost broke my record 9 otm. One short. I broke out of my slump nicely. Last 6 tourneys...

1st - 3
2nd - 1 (I could already taste that 1st, 2 pair beat by gut straight on the river)
3rd - 1

I just stopped worrying about possible bad beats everytime I had a strong hand. Things just fall into place.

On a side note, I read a post mentioning how Party low-limit SNGs can't be bluffed. I strongly disagree. I have had decent success over the past 100 SNGs, almost 50% ITM. I can tell you I didn't have pocket pairs all day either.

I actually would have put him on K 10 here. Not a very good way to break out of a losing streak. I can see raising him on the flop, but when he bets the turn I'm looking to get out of this hand or maybe just call and hope to catch another heart on the river. JMO
