What the hell is going on here?

My fricking blender only has an 18 inch power cord, what the hill kind of use is that? For crying out loud would an extra 12 inches have cost that much more? HOw aobut one with a retractable power cord to? That would be perfect.
And my damn cookbook (which i shouldnt believe since its called "the joy of cooking" and not "the joy of others cooking for me") says i can make 45 chocolate chip cookies out of
1/2 cub of butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup plus 2 T of flour
1 egg

Does this seem like enough for 45 cookies?

Also, does anyone else think that Kerry will get elected, and at some point near his reelection a major terriost act against america will allow Bush to use it as a platform to take the white house in 2008? I wake up nights thinking that the worst thing that could happen would be a 12 year combination of bush/kerry.

thats [censored] up with the blender, but also shouldn't be that big of a deal, I suppose get an extension cord. My mom has that cook book, its pretty solid man.
