Default Correct push in the SB?

Again, I'm on the lookout for leaks.

PP $10+1 SNG. 9 handed with 25/50 blinds. I have 425 after posting the SB.

Folded to button who limps. I push with A8o. Ok, good, bad?

I think that it depends on the size of the bb's stack. But in general I think it is ok, your going to have to double up sometime.

Default Re: Correct push in the SB?

I made a similiar play with A8s in the SB when the button completed. Both players had around T1000. Button called with A3o and I doubled up. This was in the $30s so I would have expected the button to fold. In the 10's you can probably expect a call from the button and he will show you K9s or something. I assume it didn't work out but you probably made the right decision.
Hope that helps.
