US women win gold!
On an excellent corner kick from Lilly, headed in by Wambach in the second extra period. Awesome game for the ladies and a good send-off for Hamm, Foudy, et al.
2-1 was the final for those who missed it. A really great game. I've been watching a lot of these players for 10+ years (Hamm was in college at UNC when I was a kid in Chapel Hill) and they're a class act. NT
