John Kerry, the White House said today. White House spokesman Scott McClellan said Bush called the GOP senator from Arizona and said that, if legal action does not work, he wants to pursue legislative action against the groups. </font>

And McCain must feel really important these past few years- everyone needs him!

Sounds like good timing. The election is less than 70 days away, and they won't need to smear and slander any more Vets for another 4 years.
