Default KK. Double-paired board. Opponent is a LAG.

A few notes on my main opponent here. He plays many hands and is quite aggressive with a pair and/or draw. He will damn near bet EVERY single time when checked to no matter what. Make that always if he is last to act.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: nepenthe is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 raises, CO folds, Button calls, SB folds, nepenthe 3-bets, UTG+2 calls, MP3 calls, Button calls.

Flop: (12.33 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
nepenthe bets, UTG+2 folds, MP3 calls, Button calls.

Turn: (7.66 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
nepenthe checks, MP3 checks, Button bets, nepenthe raises, MP3 folds, Button 3-bets, nepenthe caps, Button calls.

River: (15.66 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
nepenthe checks, Button bets, nepenthe calls.

Final Pot: 17.66 BB
Main Pot: 17.66 BB, between Button and nepenthe.

My guess is you're using button's tendancies to bet if it's checked to him to knock out MP3, which you accomplished. But then you got a little surprise when button 3-bets you, and you decide to cap.

I'm going to guess you decided not to lead the river specifically because the board paired again.

I may not have capped the turn (but I'm a bit weak-tight on the expensive streets), but I think you played it pretty well.
