Default Non-mainstream Olympic events you\'ll watch

Since NBC will be broadcasting the Olympics on about 62 stations, they'll have coverage of a lot of events that normally are unseen. What are some of the ones you'll watch?

Team Handball
Table Tennis
Water Polo

The Modern Pentathlon (defined as The Skills of the Military Courier) which contains these 5 events:

- cross-country run
- swimming
- pistol shooting
- fencing
- equestrian

Maybe they should rename it the 19th Century Pentathlon.

Weight lifting.

UUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Actually I watch very little TV and only get a few cable stations. But If I could watch something not seen much then weight lifting would be tops - The wrestling would be good also - One of the truly very ancient forms of competition practice by almost every culture.

Big oversized sweaty beasts bumping and rubbing up against each other is not my idea of a good time.

Whoever said table tennis though i must agree.

Are you aware that there are weightclasses in wrestling. Or do you think the WWE is in the olympics?

In many european countries Team Handball is a mainstream sport and I certainly will see many matches (And Denmark has a good medal chance in the womens event).

A non Mainstream event i will watch is sailing. (But I can only see what the danish channels send, so it wil only be when they send something with danish contestanst).

In badminton I will follow the danish contestants. Denmark is the best non asian country in badminton. And I have high hopes for Peter Gade and our mens double.
